Execution styles

Easy money

Commit a crime in front of your safehouse to get the attention of the police. Shoot as many as possible when they appear. If you are about to die, enter the safehouse. After regaining health, exit the safehouse. The police will no longer be there and you can collect the dropped money safely. Repeat this as many times as desired.

Level select

At the title screen, hold [Space] and select the “New Game” option. Then any individual level may be selected for game play.

Win single player level

While playing the game, press [Ctrl] + [Plus].

Lose single player level

While playing the game, press [Ctrl] + [Minus].

Stronger warriors

While playing the game, type “PizzaParty” to make your warriors more powerful.

Taunt opponents

While playing the game, select a unit to modify, then press T. Now at random times, a cheer will be heard.

Defeating Zombie Boss Bears

Wait until the Bear stands up on its hind legs before you shoot. Darien will then aim at the chest of the bear with the game’s targeting system. If you are not hitting it in the chest, you are wasting valuable ammo. The difficult part is getting the bear to stand up on its hind legs. You must stay close to the bear, but not too close. Do this by aiming at the bear and walking around it. If you get too far away, the bear will run at you. By staying close and walking around the bear, its attacks will miss. After you have killed one, you get to do it again. Just use the same technique, and the two bears will be dead in no time.

Easy experience

Use the following trick to get to level 10. When you start the game, leave the town and fight Merman until you are at level 4 or 5. Then, go right from the Merman and fight Terly Lizards, which give better experience. After you reach level 7 with the Terly Lizards, go to the shore to the right and fight Great Pincers, Great Pincers do a lot of damage; be careful. After you get to level 8 or 9, go far to the left and find Goblin Attackers and Warriors (near the forest). Battle the Attackers first, then go on to the Warriors. It is recommended that you have some Meat, in case your at low HP so that you can revive. After you reach level 10, you can upgrade your class. Note: This is for a human account, not an Akkan or Orc.

Use the following trick to get from level 1 to 20 easily. First, fight Young Ichman until you are level 4. They can be found in front of town. Then, fight Ichman Fighters until you are at level 6. Next, fight Tribal Lizardmen until you are at level 7. Next, go to the Goblin Skirmishers and fight them until you are at level 8 .Then, go to the shores and fight Craymen until you are at level 10. Next, fight Goblin Fighters near the forest until you are at level 15. Then, go into the forest and fight Wolves. Note: Be careful of the Soul Suckers, as they will team up on you. Continue fighting the wolves until you are at level 18. Finally, fight Rock Beetles until you are at level 20.

Quick money

While playing the game, press [Ctrl] + [Shift] + C and enter the “rosebud” code. Then, display the cheat prompt again and type “!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!” (up to sixty total commands may be entered).

Save space with more resources

Once the “DIVINE INTERVENTION” code is enabled to get multiple Plenty Vaults or Dwarven Gold Mines, you can use [Pause Break] to pause game play. Then, all the Plenty Vaults or Gold Mines can be put one over the other. Many Plenty Vaults at the same location will give an enormous gain of space, and give the same amount of resources. Many Gold Mines can be placed like a linked barrier to stop enemies. Many Gaia Forests can be put around a Titan once the game is paused to stop him from moving for the entire scenario, which gives you the freedom to attack whenever one is completely ready. Note: Once the game is resumed, more Plenty Vaults cannot be put at the same location again. Also, the Invoked god power is not visible until the game is resumed.

Killing Cerebus

On the level where you have to kill Cerebus, in order to protect the Son Of Osiris train at least 30 Priests to defend him.

Avoiding Kronis

On the last level when you have all of the four summoning trees, do not attack the enemies base or Kronos will come from the Tartauras gate and destroy your empire. Kronos cannot be defeated by anyone except Gia.

Training Rocs

On the level where the Promeatheus Titan comes, after you have defended your base for the time limit, the Titan will attack you. You must train 3 Rocs and send them to Kastor’s base. It is better to train them at the start of the level.

Defeating the Norse Titan

In the level that you need to defeat the Norse Titan, enable the “DIVINE INTERVENTION” code a few times. This will allow more usages of the God Power Healing Springs. Put them near all of your allies bases. Then, take the King Frost Giant as well as about ten Fire Giants and ten Giants to attack. If you have extra resources, build up an army to take out the enemy base (in red). The King will freeze the Titan and your Giants will do the attacking. This is a good way to defeat the Titan instead of waiting for the Nidhog.

Boats on land

Get the Implode God power. You can get this by being Atlantean and worshipping Atlas; or by using the “ZENOS PARADOX” code. Next, get some boats and bring them as close to the shore as possible. Then, cast Implode just barely in range of the boats. This may require a few attempts; enable the “DIVINE INTERVENTION” code until done correctly. The orb will suck them in. When the orb explodes, they will fly through the air and land on the ground. Note: You cannot move them at all.

Testing cheats mode

While playing the game, press [Ctrl] + [Shift] + C to display the console window. Enter “boolProp TestingCheatsEnabled true” to activate testing cheats mode. This is a very powerful cheat that enables many new things. In Create A Sim, after enabling this code, go into debugmode by pressing [Shift] + N before making a Sim. You now have the following new things in Create A Sim: skin tones, clothing, and some other options such as viewing the skinfilenames. In the game itself, after enabling this code, hold [Shift] and left click on a Sim to have lots of options, such as changing clothes, make your Sim fat or thin, set their aspiration level, etc. This code also can spawn some interesting items, such as the tombstone of L(ife) and D(eath), and family members.

Enable the “boolProp testingCheatsEnabled true” code, then go onto a different family. A strange code will appear at the top right hand corner. If you go onto the Sims’ needs, you can click on each one and drag it up or down, whichever desired. You can also increase the skill points of your Sims in the same way. This is useful if you want a promotion, if your Sim is depressed, if you are teaching a toddler to walk, etc. You can also hold [Shift] and click on a Sim. Click on “More”, then “Spawn” and create the Tombstone of L and D. You can click on this, then “More” then “Make everyone here friends with me”, which helps if you need friends to get promoted, or to complete an aspiration task.

Kung Fu fists

Find and read the “Day of the Kungfu Zombies” books in various levels. Note: When you look at this book, it will not highlight an action response. You must search for the book, then press Action to read it. Your character will say “I know Kung Fu?”, then a tattoo will appear on your hands. Your hands will now be stronger, and can kill zombies.

Easy completion of The Farm level

At the beginning of the game, Jack notices a stranger standing in his yard. The game will instruct you to go out and confront him. Instead, go upstairs to the attic and find your .22 rifle. The zombie will start to bash his way into your house, but it is better than running up to him unarmed, as he will almost always bite you. Also, the key to the shed in your backyard is in the basement. If you go downstairs before coming into contact with the zombies, you can get a revolver, ammo, and a hammer from the shed. These make it a lot easier to fight off the walking dead at your house, and you can complete the level twice as fast.

Go to the third gate that you can break, then go backwards until you see a black wall on the left that is cracked. Break the black wall to get the item.

Bonuses

Donate 100 silver to the priests in the towns and wild to unlock various bonuses, such as movies, artwork, and songs. Additionally, use the following trick to unlock the bonuses easier. After getting at least 2,000 silver, save the game. Find a priest and make a 100 silver donation. Keep donating 100 silver until all your silver is gone. Then, pause the game and select the “Exit To Main Menu” option without saving your game. Answer “Yes” when warned that your unsaved chapter progress will be lost. Once at the title screen, enter the “Extras” menu to view the unlocked bonuses. Exit that menu and load your previously saved game. Immediately save the game again. You will still have all your silver and the unlocked bonus options.

There is no easy way to get all the bonuses. You must do a set amount of large donations which are listed as follows. The number indicates the number of large donations that must be made with the corresponding bonus that you will get. Note: If you save and leave the game you must redo every donation to get up to the same amount as when you saved.

Easy money

Early in the game, go talk to the barrel maker that is inside one of the Broch’s. This is the Broch that is near the middle of the town, but at the west end; his door is facing north (if you were to be facing his door, you would be facing east). The name of the place at the bottom of the screen when you walk in will read “Boyd’s Barrels”, at the west side of Houton. After you talk to him, go back outside. Go to the right side of his Broch and start destroying the barrels next to his dwelling (that are under the awning). He will come out and talk to you. Give him nice responses. He will give you the “Barrel Maker - Break lots of Barrels” quest. After that, every time you see a barrel, make sure you do whatever it takes to break it into tiny pieces. Then, go into The Drunken Rat bar and smash all the barrels on the upper floor. This is the floor you are on when you first walk in the front door. There are eight barrels that you can smash with your fists or a sword, and three behind the three singing drunks that you cannot destroy until you have bought a bow at the store. This makes a total of eleven barrels. Then, go down the stairs in the back room of the bar. You will find eleven more barrels to smash. After all those barrels have been smashed, go out the front door of the bar. Then, go back in and smash them all over again. After smashing a large number of barrels (over 100) go to the man who gave you the quest. He is standing next to the awning where you broke his barrels. He will give you 500 Silver. By doing this, you can make as much money as desired early in the game. Note: Try buying the Longbow to shoot the three barrels behind the singing drunks.

Easy kills

After you kill the giant rat in the beginning of the game, go through Houton village and find the puppy in the middle part of the village. Respond nicely and the dog will follow you. As you journey on, the dog will distract enemies, thus making easier kills.

Alternate storyline

If the puppy joins your party, it will change the story somewhat. For example, when you face The Pet it will crush your dog, killing it. Later when you run into the skull in the dungeon, it says that someone from your past wants to see you again and it brings your undead dog back into your party.

Final choice

In the final choice, if you have summons out you can ask their advice, unless they do not talk (then the Bard just says “Right”).

Little Red Riding Hood reference

Sometimes when you kill a wolf, you will get a red cloak or a picnic basket.

Star Wars reference

If you choose to be snarky to the elder after defeating Silkbeard, he will say “May the queen of the Sith take you.”

You Got Served references

The Knight summon occasionally says “Thou hast been served”. Additionally, in the basement of the Scotsman’s castle, a group of zombies will have a breakdance contest with a group of skeletons. When the skeletons win, the head one says “You got served”, to which the Bard responds “What the hell?!”

Easy experience

Note: This takes a while and is very repetitive. This trick is done before you enter Dillmoor. It can be unlocked during the storyline, which is the third area opened. At the beginning of the game when the Ruins of Robelia Castle and Gaslin Caves are unlocked, or as Dillmoor is unlocked, there is a way to keep leveling up for a long period of time before moving on. You can do it in all three areas. When choosing to enter either Robelia Castle or Gaslin Caves, you will be grouped with Pagus or Blockter. Keep going back into that area and fight until you can make it through the area without leveling up once through the whole map, and use the appropriate fighting technique (Mystic Attacks in Robelia Castle or Combat Arts in Gaslin Caves). As you do this, your characters will learn more of those skills. If you wait until Dillmoor is opened, do not enter that area or you will not be able to perform this leveling trick. Instead, have your two parties run in and out of both Robelia Castle and Gaslin Caves until you do not level up at all running through both areas. Even if you are close to exiting the second area you selected and have one character level up, go through them both again. This is the easiest and most efficient way to level up early in the game, and it keeps your characters leveling up for a long time. Note: You cannot do the time warp. This also gives you the chance to get and sell a lot of your components and gather the rare ones, like the bracelet. Remember that Chimera components are difficult to find; do not sell them. This trick also gives you the chance to get the money together to afford two of every item in Athlum and to save to get two of every item in Celepaleis. Remember to buy the Flamberg for 7,500. Equip it, and keep using it until you can unlock its secret attack. This will take some time.

Special monsters

After entering Dillmoor, visit each area at least 150 times. This will unlock the special monsters that are in each area, such as the special Landworm in the high chambers of Robelia Castle (before you open up the upper area with Emma), and the flying dragon or land dragon in Dillmoor, and the land dragon and two other special monsters to fight in Gaslin Caves. This will work better if you have an accessory with an addition to Occurrences. These monsters will not show up until you go through Dillmoor, Baulson’s Quest, and Celepaleis.
