Neverending Fuses
The game’s barter system will allow you to purchase fuses to complete various puzzles throughout your quest. Without completing them, you can’t proceed. But there’s a major loophole in the system, starting with the very first fuse puzzle. After completing it, go back to the puzzle and grab all of the fuses. These will stay in your inventory and can be used on future puzzles, eliminating the necessary barter purchase for more fuses at a future date. You’ll never have to search for or purchase more fuses if you do this.

Replenish Your Gun Clip
Here’s a great way to get more bullets for your gun clip without having to spend much money. If you’ve used up all of your bullets, or some (or most) of them, and you want to replenish your supply, simply do the following. Find a character who is trading gun clips, and swap your old, somewhat or completely used one for a new, completely replenished one.

This is a nifty trick to execute when fighting an Akrid. Try to step close to an edge into an abyss and fall off. Quickly catch yourself - the Akrid will follow you over the side and not be able to catch itself, falling into the abyss below.

Extra Playable Character
Select Legends of Urak from the starting screen. As you see the circle of life, click the very center dot in the middle. This will give you a new playable character.

TO Defeat Balkoth Use the map editor to make a map. Erase the Life lord and place a new one beside Balkoth. Save the map and load the custom board. Use the Infinite Defense code to make yourself immortal. Then attack Balkoth and kill him the first turn. Game over, you can now play as him under any setting.

FOR BEING master of Death Choose Death as your faith, you already start out with Balkoth’s Scythe. It’s ability will keep replenishing your life whenever you kill and enemy. Now you need to search through the local caves and buildings for artifacts. When you get the Ashes of Infestation, equip it on Balkoth. Now go to an empty cave and cast Spawn (a spell you’re able to cast for free from the Ashes) on the cave. An enemy has now occupied it. It’ll tell you that the same enemy occupying it now is the one that was previously. It’s not, but don’t worry about it. You can then go in and kill the enemy. It’s best to go in and hit autobattle. The computer is probably better at fighting with Balkoth than anyone else. After battle, you get the rewards, (exp., gold, ale, etc.) and you can cast Spawn on the cave again. For some reason, after every battle, you have 9 movement points left, so you can do this forever, but you can only go to level 12 with any Lord. But hey, bring in other soldiers with Balkoth, and max them out. Good luck.

DEFENCE POWERUP
Choose your following as a Life Warrior, you’ll get the Peacemaker as your artifact. If you take the staff out of your hand and put it back in, your defense steadily increases, permanently. Works only on Life Warriors and Mages, not Thieves. It’s a game glitch.

Cut The Bull
Although the movie may be great, when you really want to start right into the game, add this line to the game execuatble.

Begin by creating a short cut to the game’s executable on the desktop (or the start menu). Then right mouse click on it and enter the PROPERTIES button. Add +forcemenu main to the end of the command line so the final result should look something like this:

Unit Cap Hack
Changes game critical files. Back up the originals before alteration.

Locate the ini.big file in the game directory and open it with a text editor such as Notepad. Search for the following string:

GoodCommandPointLimit = 300
EvilCommandPointLimit = 600
And ajust the amount to what you want. It is a good idea to look below that string for more values to adjust, such as:

GoodCommandPointsBonus = 20;
bonuses for every territory captures in living world
EvilCommandPointsBonus = 50
and add about 30 or so to each value, depending on how high you set your command limit, as it will not be possible to reach 999 command in campaign when you only get 20 or 50 bonuses per terrain.

This only works for the Light faction. Build up to the command limit. After doing so build a well at one of your bases, because not only do they heal troops but they also replace lost units. Send your units into battle and let men from each battalion die, in order to have your command points go down.

Before returning your men to the well build more battlions of your choice. (You must take down the command points low enough to build more troops). Build back up to the command limit. Once the command limit has been reached send the wounded battalions to the well.

The well will replace the missing troops and therefore build you above the command limit. Usually you can build one or two battalions above the command point limit. You must keep at least one unit alive from a battalion in order to replace the units from the battalion so be careful!

Hero Power Transfer
Unverified. You can glitch a hero and give him any power(s) you want, but it takes some time and a lot of patience.

First make a hero with no powers, then a second hero with the power you want (i.e., an elf hero with Healing), then stack them together on the playfield.

Click on the hero with the single power, go to the powers menu and when you click “customize”, immediately press the quickswitch key to your hero with no powers. When you enter the powers menu, the “hero” using the powers from the power menu will be the one hero with no zilch powers.

Now click on the blank unit portrait (the picture of power will not be there) where the power you want is and reselect it. You can now make other heros with powers you want and put them on your new glitched hero. Regretably, you cannot “pull” multiple powers from the (valid) hero unit; you will still need to add them one by one to the glitched unit.

Heal Glitch
While using an elven archer with the self heal ability, click self heal and then quickly tell your hero to move or attack something and it will heal, but the ability will instantly recharge.

To create a really strong, consistent attack, head to your game’s data.txt file. Make a copy of firen_ball.dat. Then, change bat_ball.dat to bat_ballz.dat. Following that, change firen_ball.dat copy to bat_ball.dat.

Every time you find a chest and you’re looking for a specific item, or item type. (eg. armor, weapons, boots etc..) Press f9 to quick save, and then lock pick, or open the chest, if you don’t like what is inside then reload the game. Note: If you find a good item you really like, but not what you’re looking for, save it under “item name” just in case it’s the best thing you find.

Put a weapon in the items slot just above your health by dragging it from your pack (put it in slot 1 for now). While attacking, just click on a target nearby, and when you swing all the way through–just after you do damage–just press the 1 key and quickly click on your target again. Repeat. It eliminates all of the recovery after a swing or shot. When you get really good at it your can attack up to four times in the time of one normal attack.

Here is the solution to getting Eduardo his sword back. The first time you enter the sewers you either have to choose a side; Beggars, or thieves. Or if your speech is high enough you can talk your way into neutrality. Coming in the Sewer through the Temple entrance is easier for this quest. Enter the sewers pick a side, or don’t. Then proceed to the east where you will find a broken wall littered with corpses of Wererats, and thieves. Enter the area and go as far south as you can (easier if neutral or on beggar side) Go left a bit until you find a wooden bridge, cross the bridge and immediately to the right you will find the beggar who stole the sword. Kill him or haggle with him to buy it for 300 or 100. If you are eradicating all the wererats as a quest, or kill Garcia for the thieves, he is to the south west of the wooden bridge. Hug the walls to find him.

To position the ball near the hole, tee-off. Then select “Drop” from the in-game menu and choose “Select Another Position” option within the list. (As the screen is redrawn, the ball is moved closer to the hole.) Repeat to move the ball inches from the hole!

To enable cheats, press L to bring up the console. Then delete the /tell command (do this each time you enter a cheat) and type: /cheatcheat, then press ENTER. Then enter one of the codes below to activate it:
