Infinite Money
Instead of trying to win money at the Hard Drive Saloon, there’s an easier way to get money. First go to the bank (you can only go during the daytime) and deposit all of your money. Next go to Help (the Asian guy) and he will say “You out of money? Here’s 5 bucks as a loan.” Now go back to the bank and deposit the 5 bucks. Go back to Help and get 5 more bucks, and deposit at the bank again. You may repeat this cheat as many times as you wish because Help will never stop giving you money.

Cheat: Infinite Cash
You need a good cleric to do this one. Find somewhere you can rest for free, and set all of your cleric’s first level spells to “Bless Water”. Rest, and then cast your bless water as many times as possible. You can then sell your holy water as much as you want, and it is free to create more. Cheat Away!

Hint: Easy Armor
This trick works best for a level 2 or higher character. Enter the inn at Hommlet after dark, and speak with Tuperello. Agree to a drinking contest, and after everyone has passed out you can safely walk up and take all the items that they own. This will only work until you win the drinking contest, so make sure you get everything that you want.

Hint: Exploiting NPCs
You can easily exploit your NPCs by pooling (taking) all their gold. Do so, but leave one coin on each NPC or you may experience some difficulties.

You can also claim more than your fair share of loot from defeated monsters. After the battle, do not investigate the bodies. Instead mark the spot on a map (or remember where the battle was) and head for town to rest for a few days. Head back to the site of the battle and you’ll find the monsters’ booty in an “item stack” (with no bodies). Take the stack and your NPCs will not lay claim to any of the monsters’ dropped items.

Hint: Earn Massive Experience
In the first village, Homlet, you stumble upon the first chest into the druid’s house. With the rogue, a search finds a trap. When you try to disable the device and fail all of your characters get 252 experience points. Continue to your heart’s desire.

Also, you can hire an NPC and simply kill it. This works especially well when you hire any high level character.

Easter Egg - Krug Suppliant
Unverified. Inside the Great Clock Building, there is a large door you can’t open. Ignore it for now. After defeating the Shadowjumper further in but before teleporting back to Arhok, retrace your steps back to the large “locked” door. You should be able to open it now.

Inside the room, there will be an elevator leading to a lower level. The music should change to a slow disco theme. Once you go down there, you should see a brown faced brute (called a Krug in the original Dungeon Siege) dressed in fancy clothing. Talk to him. He will start talking about how annoyed he is about the Shadowjumper then he will thank you for doing away with him. As a gift, he will give you two ridiculously named items (Mac Daddy Headdress and Orb of Chicken(spell).

To disable the cheat effect, enter the same cheat but use a subtraction symbol instead of an addition symbol. For example, to disable invulnerability, input -drlife.

Glitch - Shield With 2 Handed Weapon
Note this glitch is unproven and may be addressed in future patches.

Open the inventory list for your character. Empty your primary and secondary weapon slots. Buy or choose a shield and place it in your secondary weapon slot. On the main character bar, click on any spell as your main weapon of choice, but DO NOT exit the inventory list. Now, take your desired two handed weapon and place it in the primary weapon slot. If all goes well you should be able to make this work.

The only bad thing about this is that when you look at your characters when they are in the overhead battle mode, they don’t have the weapon on hand, but just the shield. However, the weapon you equipped still does the dmamage but it looks as if your character is punching at the enemy barehanded.

Create a shortcut to the dungeonsiege executable and add height=#### width=####, where #### is your desired resolution (1200 x 1600 or 768 x 1024 is fairly common). If your #### is three digits, enter them as is (768 instead of 0768).

Hack: Skip Intro FMV
The intro is cool, but after while you just want to skip it. If you create a shortcut to the dungeonsiege executable, add nointro=true to the command line.

Hack: Force Game Into Window
Create a shortcut to the dungeonsiege executable and add fullscreen=false.

Long Tom Artillery
During gameplay hit ENTER and press the plus sign (+)and type in SNIPER. You should get a phrase confirming correct input.

Higher Resolution
If you have a Voodoo 3 board and are comfortable running REGEDIT then this code is for you.

Start REGEDIT
Find the registry entry HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Bullfrog Productions Ltd\Dungeon Keeper II\Configuration\Video
Expand the Video option
Double click on the option Res 1024*768 Enabled, then in the value data box replace the 0 with a 1.
Do the same for the other Res XXXX*XXXX Enabled keys, then exit REGEDIT
The next time you run Dungeon Keeper 2 you will have access to the higher resoulutions. However, the text labels on the options screen from within the game may be missing.
IMPORTANT: If you are not comfortable with REGEDIT then find someone else to enter this code for you.

Lower the Wall Height
Although it is in the manual, Bullfrog forgot to put in the box to lower the height of the walls. Fear not, you can do it but it does involve editing your registry.

Start REGEDIT

Expand the Video option
Finally double click on the option HighWalls and replace the 1 with a 0.

How to get Secret Levels
(NOTE: This is a playing tip, and probably obvious to many, but I have received this question way too many times.)
The way to get secret levels is by exploring new land and finding the secret boxes. Claim the land under the secret boxes Use your bridges to get your imps to those hard-to-reach places. If you do not click on the box, one of your imps will go and pick it up and bring it to your library.

Cheat mode
Press [Ctrl] + [Alt] + C during game. (Note: Cheat mode need only be activated once per game.)

Full map

Bonus Stage
There are several bonus stages in Dungeon Keeper, but one of them can be found without doing anything. To access it, set your PC’s date to any day with a full moon then start the game. The bonus stage will appear as a flag with a circle in it.

Modify Cheat
Go into the data file, then open up the creature file and you can change information about creatures and spells around. Ex: You can change the imp spell to where imps cost nothing.

Accurate Harkonnen Deathhand
When you play as House Harkonnen, you receive a palace in later levels. This palace contains the Deathhand missile. While extremely powerful, it is also the most highly inaccurate projectile. However, if you put the pointy end of your mouse on the top of a structure’s flag when aiming and simultaneously hold down the letter T, this missile will destroy that structure and those around it in a single shot.

Maximum Spice Cheat (hack)
1. When the game starts, build two tiles right away. This will make sure that there is only one place that is needed to be changed.
2. Save the game and abort the mission.
3. On the main menu, press Alt+tab, so that you don’t have to quit the game to cheat.
4. Using scientific calculator find the corresponding hex number for the cash you had in the game. i.e. 4960 will give 1360.
5. Using hex editor, open the saved game.
6. Search for the hex value. Remember that low two bit comes first. So, for example, with 4960 cash, hex value is 1360. But you should look for 6013, instead. Change that to ‘ffffaa’. It will give maximum amount of cash. Don’t try to “ffffff”, because it’ll cause the game to crash. “ffffee” was the maximum value I was able to use without crashing, but “ffffaa” gave me the same thing anyway.
7. Save the change and close the file.
8. Back to Dune 2000 and load the game.
9. Enjoy the game and crush other two houses!

Hint: Hidden Items
On the last level of the third episode, look up and you’ll see a blimp that says “Duf Beer.” If you shoot it with your missle launcher, it will explode and lots of ammo, health packs, and other helpful items will fall onto the field.

These guys are one of the strongest enemies in the game. To kill a Battle Lord quickly, take out your Shrinker and shoot for his gun. If done correctly he will shrink and you can just stomp him! Shooting a Shrink Ray on his body anywhere else has no effect. The easiest way to hit his gun is to duck down and strafe so you are facing the barrel of his chaingun (especially useful if you use auto aim). This trick works on every Battle Lord in the game EXCEPT for the boss Battle Lord at the end of the first episode.

Hint: Exploding Pigs
This trick only works in the 4th episode (Plutonium Pack.) If you get behind a pig cop tank you should see an atomic symbol. Run into it and press spacebar to make the tank self-destruct.

Hint: Multiple Pipebombs
To throw multiple pipebombs before detonating, throw a bomb, then press 6 and throw another one. Continue to do this until you’ve placed enough. You can now detonate them all. Be sure to get under cover first. Enough pipebombs can cause a *lot* of damage.

Beat the First Boss
This is a very easy way to defeat the first episode boss. Inside the room the boss is in, there are two tripwires. One closes the door, the other brings the boss. When you walk in turn around so youre facing the door. When the door starts to close, use steroids to run past it. Now you can open the door and it wont close. Trigger the boss and run behind the shelfs for cover. Hopefully he will follow you out the door. Duck down and shoot his head. He is too stupid to run away.

Beat the Third Boss
For extra hits on the third boss, try this. When you start the level you’ll ride up an elevator. If you have a jetpack, fly up instead. The boss and enemies won’t move or attack until the elevator comes up.

God Mode on “Damn I’m Good” Setting
Start a new game on the “Come Get Some” setting. Next, enter the god mode code and start a new game in “Damn I’m Good” mode. Enjoy!

See Through The Eyes of Your Opponent
Start a modem game, then go to the Options screen and switch record ON. Now start a game, and press K at any time to see through the eyes of your opponent.
