This will let you choose from more decades like 1930, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90 and 2000 at the start of Sandbox mode. Just be careful what you do, since this involves editing the XP registry for your game executable.

(1.) Click the ‘Start’ on the Start Menu and then ‘Run’. You can also press the MS key and R together.

(2.) Type in regedit.

This small edit will allow you to start in the year 2000, and every item unlocked. Make a copy of the folder’s contents, in case you change things to destroy your game.

Enable the viewing of hidden and system files by following these commands TOOLS, FOLDER OPTIONS, VIEW (HIDDEN FILES).

Head for the directory …\Application Data\Lionhead Studios\The Movies\… and locate a file with the name UNLOCKING and open the file using Notepad. Replace the contents with the following:

Walk forward down metal great. Walk forward along tire pile to avoid fighting other characters. Go right at wall, walk on tire pile to tire bridge. Jump on tire bridge and go over the wall to next level. Once you find Ted Tred, defeat him in battle to unlock him.

Most opponents are unlockable once you defeat them in the course of your game. Some however, are well hidden and must be found first before you can fight them.

Walk along car pile on the left side towards wall. Go right and walk on other car pile towards Rangle. Follow car pile to conveyor belt,jump on and walk up beltway to next level. Once you find Rangle, defeat him to unlock him.

Find pipe exit in first level. Go straight along the wall on right side. It leads to two pipe exits. Exit pipe on the right. Fight gas chromie. Go towards the right and walk along the wall on the left that leads to Nailer. Find Nailer, defeat and unlock him. Afterwards, continue going right from Nailer and look for explosive sign. Knock down the sign and pipe wall to enter hidden world and find Big Dig. Defeat him to unlock him.

Starter’s Chest
When you are at the first area when you need to find a way off the island, you can exploit the game to get infinite items.

There is a chest in the room were you touch a book to escape the Island. Before you touch that book, take all items, spells, skill books etc. in the treasure chest and go in to the dungeon ruins. Leave the ruins and go back to the chest. The items inside it should have respawned.

You can repeat this feat as many times as you desire to get a slight head start early in the game.

Unlock Everything
To unlock everything in the game (as in, everything that can be unlocked), create a new player and name that player Katie Roy.

Midget Player
Create players with one of the following names in lower-case: keegan paterson, jacob paterson, or isaiah paterson to create a midget player.

Secret St. Patrick’s Day Jersey
When you go to create a player, name the player NEVERLOSE SIGHT. Good Luck!

Legendary Teams
Unlock all 25 Legends Team players to unlock the Legends Team. Unlock all 25 Heroes Team players to unlock the Heroes team.

For sound effects, add the line “SOUND=3″ to WINMINE.INI

While playing, hold down the left and right mouse buttons and you should see a 3×3 square imprint on the board. Next hit the ESC key while holding down both mouse buttons, and the timer is stopped!

There’s an easy-to-execute glitch/cheat in Minesweeper that will stop the game’s time so you can take your time completing each puzzle (hence getting the high score!) To do so, start a new game and then quickly hit the Windows key and the D key at the same time to minimize the game to the bar below (and any other program). Then, maximize the game again and the clock will be permanently frozen.

With your cursor inside the minesweeper window type “XYZZY” then press Shift-Enter and Enter. A white dot should appear in the upper-left corner of the screen. If it turns black, your cursor is resting on a mine.
Note: This trick works best if your Windows background is black. Also note that code will not work in Windows 95 or Windows NT.

Helmet
Go to Storm Eagle’s stage. There is a section where with a long tall white grayish matter of some sort, with another side. Go to the other side. Blow up the dynamite. Dash on the edge and land on the other side where the dynamite used to be. Go to the end and there is the capsule.

Easier Game
When the game begins type “xstuff” for all weapons and tanks and no sub-bosses.

Body Armor
Go to Sting Chameleon’s level. The armor is up in a corner of a wall right above the entrance into the main level. To be able to get this, you must have Leg Armor. Climb up the wall, and there is a boss waiting for you. Defeat him, and the armor will appear in about ten seconds.

The Ha-Do-Can Fireball
On the Armored Armadillo stage, towards the end when you fly into the mountain on the trolley climb up the mountain, and collect anything that you find up on top. Now Beat Armored Armadillo and return to this level.
Go through the level 5 or 6 times without using any weapon but the x-buster or sub-tank with all body enchancements and heart tanks. On the 5th or 6th time doing this you should see Dr. Light in a ninja costume. Get it and you will get a secret weapon which can only be used with full health.

Leg Armor
Go in to Chill Penguin’s level and play a normal game.

Weapon Enhancement
Go to Flame Mammoth’s stage. Play until you fall down a big hole which leads to the section with the heart. Jump on the rim, and then dash and land on the wall, and keep going until the top. There is another capsule waiting for you.

How to Begin
Typically, the best Maverick to kill first is Chill Penguin. Do that, but instead of going to Spark Mandrill next, which has a weakness to Chill Penguin’s weapon, go to Launch Octopus instead. Destroying him will get rid of Spark Mandrill’s electrical traps and give you the weapon which is Spark Mandrill’s miniboss’ weakness.

Insert the following codes at the corresponding time for the desired result.

Hall of Fame Teams
In order to unlock the AFC/NFC Hall of Fame teams (like the Glaciers, Dummies, et cetera), you must complete the in-game Fantasy Challenge. To unlock these teams so you can play as them, you must beat them in Supreme League mode; otherwise, you will only get to play them, not as them.

Performance Institute Exploit
To increase your chosen character’s statistics faster, hence making him a superstar more rapidly, try the following exploit. On gameday (Sunday), enter the Performance Institute and complete the exercise. After exiting, head over to your team’s schedule and enter. Then, exit back out to the city map, and the Performance Institute exercise will appear again for you to use. You can do this over and over again if you want.

Draft Pick Franchise Building
Here’s a great technique if you’re looking to build a dynasty longterm over many seasons. It works best with “great” teams (like the Patriots, Colts and Chargers) and “good” teams (like the Jaguars, Broncos, and Cowboys). Theoretically, though, it can work with any team.

After finishing up your pre-season games, don’t advance to the regular season. Instead, head to the trading block. Offer up your first round pick and ask for a first, second and fourth round pick in return. If your team is decent enough you will receive offers from all of the bottom teams (like Buffalo, Houston, Detroit, or whoever happens to be bad that season).

So, with the bad team’s first, second and fourth picks (for instance), you can offer your own second, third and fourth picks. Ask for a first, third and fourth pick in return. You have to be flexible though, because you won’t always be able to get what you want in return.

If the above works, however, you’ll have two first round picks, a second round pick, a third round pick, and two fourth round picks (or something similar). This is absolutely amazing when you are building a franchise. Better yet, you can do this every year, as your franchise gets stronger and stronger with young, talented players.

Neverending Fuses
The game’s barter system will allow you to purchase fuses to complete various puzzles throughout your quest. Without completing them, you can’t proceed. But there’s a major loophole in the system, starting with the very first fuse puzzle. After completing it, go back to the puzzle and grab all of the fuses. These will stay in your inventory and can be used on future puzzles, eliminating the necessary barter purchase for more fuses at a future date. You’ll never have to search for or purchase more fuses if you do this.

Replenish Your Gun Clip
Here’s a great way to get more bullets for your gun clip without having to spend much money. If you’ve used up all of your bullets, or some (or most) of them, and you want to replenish your supply, simply do the following. Find a character who is trading gun clips, and swap your old, somewhat or completely used one for a new, completely replenished one.

This is a nifty trick to execute when fighting an Akrid. Try to step close to an edge into an abyss and fall off. Quickly catch yourself - the Akrid will follow you over the side and not be able to catch itself, falling into the abyss below.

Extra Playable Character
Select Legends of Urak from the starting screen. As you see the circle of life, click the very center dot in the middle. This will give you a new playable character.

TO Defeat Balkoth Use the map editor to make a map. Erase the Life lord and place a new one beside Balkoth. Save the map and load the custom board. Use the Infinite Defense code to make yourself immortal. Then attack Balkoth and kill him the first turn. Game over, you can now play as him under any setting.

FOR BEING master of Death Choose Death as your faith, you already start out with Balkoth’s Scythe. It’s ability will keep replenishing your life whenever you kill and enemy. Now you need to search through the local caves and buildings for artifacts. When you get the Ashes of Infestation, equip it on Balkoth. Now go to an empty cave and cast Spawn (a spell you’re able to cast for free from the Ashes) on the cave. An enemy has now occupied it. It’ll tell you that the same enemy occupying it now is the one that was previously. It’s not, but don’t worry about it. You can then go in and kill the enemy. It’s best to go in and hit autobattle. The computer is probably better at fighting with Balkoth than anyone else. After battle, you get the rewards, (exp., gold, ale, etc.) and you can cast Spawn on the cave again. For some reason, after every battle, you have 9 movement points left, so you can do this forever, but you can only go to level 12 with any Lord. But hey, bring in other soldiers with Balkoth, and max them out. Good luck.

DEFENCE POWERUP
Choose your following as a Life Warrior, you’ll get the Peacemaker as your artifact. If you take the staff out of your hand and put it back in, your defense steadily increases, permanently. Works only on Life Warriors and Mages, not Thieves. It’s a game glitch.
