Hints

Battery locations

Start a game on the Bombs Away level and move all the way to the left to find a battery. Then, move all the way to the right to find another batter.

Green laser locations

Green lasers will allow enemies to be killed with a single shot. They can be found at the following locations:

Andy’s House: When you go to the garage, find a way to get up to the van. When you get to the top, you will see a green laser.

Andy’s Neighborhood: Find your way to the location with a broken car. The green laser should be right in front of you.

Alleys and Gullies: Turn to the right when you see the first airplane box.

Getting on the trees

Begin a game on the Andy’s Neighborhood level. Climb on the swing, then reach the other swing. Move to the tire with a rope. Climb up the rope, then jump on top of the tree. Note: There is a kite Boss at the very top of the tree. When you first get on the tree, HAM will appear. Find 50 coins bring them to HAM to receive a Pizza Planet token.

Finding the green army men

Begin a game on the Andy’s Neighborhood level. After starting, you should see a tractor that will chase you. Do not leave the yard. Turn around and you will see a green army man. Go up the steps and approach him. He will offer a Pizza Planet token to you if you can find all five of his army men. The other army men can be found easier if you see flames.

Finding Mr. Potato Head’s eye

To retrieve Mr. Potato Head’s eye (and receive the disc launcher), keep climbing up the construction site. You will eventually find the eye.

Defeating the Wind Up Robot

Shoot him with a charged laser while he is winding up.

Defeating the Jackhammer Boss

Get the disc launcher from Mr. Potato Head. Shoot the Boss, but do not allow him get too close to you, or he will shoot out hot bolts. Note: You must find Mr. Potato Head’s eye to unlock and receive the disc launcher. You only receive ten disks that may be used over and over if you return.

Defeating the final Bosses

You have to fight the Gunslinger, the Blacksmith and the Old Prospector in the final level. Defeat them in that order. To defeat the Gunslinger, use lasers. Use the spin for the Blacksmith and the Prospector.

Easy money

Find an easy race such as a drag or something short that you can win quickly. Win the race and get the money. Go back to the safe house and start the race again. Win the race to get the same amount of money again. Repeat this process as much as desired. This is quite useful when you need that extra bit of power to defeat a Blacklist Rival, but don’t have the money for a better car or parts.

Defeat one of the opponents on the blacklist. You will get two marks to use on several different things. Do not use them on the Uniques early in the game. Instead, use them on the middle or the left “Random” choices. They should usually come out to either a large cash bonus or the opponent’s pink slip.

Easy upgrades

Before you can do anything, you must win the Burger King Challenge. Once you win it, you will unlock all unique parts (also called Junkman parts). Get any car and put all the parts on it except performance. Once you have your car the way you desire, go to the performance shop. Max out your car, then put the Junkman parts on. Max out your car again. Then put on the Junkman parts again. Your car should be fully upgraded now.

Easy bounty

Get some cops to chase you, then go to the bus stop. Get on top of the buses and make sure that the front of the car is at the edge of the last bus so that the cops can see you and do not lose you. Keep looking behind you, because the cops will sometimes find a way on top of the buses. When they do get on the buses, just reverse as soon as you see them coming and push them off. Only one cop car will come on top of the bus. Do this for as long as desired. When you want to lose them, just reverse, park in the middle of the buses, and wait until your Cool Down bar fills. The cops will also drive crazy and crash into themselves, giving you extra bounty and bring up your rap sheet rankings on police vehicles immobilized and police vehicles involved.

Getting the most money when selling your car

When you sell a car, you will only get half of its list value; however, there is a trick that works well for Pinkslips that you have won and no longer want. Take your car to the shop, then go to the parts area. Go into the body kit, spoiler, hood, rims, and roof air areas and set everything to stock. When you check out, you will see anywhere from $1,000 to $18,000, depending on what Pinkslip car you are stripping. Do not try this with performance parts. The shop will charge you money for downgrading. Once you have stripped your car of all accessories, leave and go to your safe house. Sell the car, and you will have made a lot of money on the side. Do this every time you intend to sell any car.

Quick start

Get a perfect launch on your tachometer when launching from the start line to get a boost. When the needle turns blue drop the clutch and hold on.

Nitrous and grip

Hitting nitrous torques the chassis back, giving the rear tires immensely more weight under the new acceleration. The end effect is that you will go straight. If your tail is sliding out or you are about to spin out of control, hit your nitrous to get straighten out. This is a great trick in combination with Speedbreaker. With the correct timing, you can take most corners at any speed.

Nitrous boosting

It is critical when you get past Blacklist Member #6 to use your nitrous wisely and strategically. Instead of just holding Nitrous in desperation to get ahead, press and release it when the tachometer is about to shift to the next gear. Upon the next gear shift, continue pressing Nitrous until the next upcoming gear shift. This is a great way to cut time off your race.

Avoid and remove strikes

After getting busted and taking a strike, turn off the system the next time you get pulled over. Resume the game and those strikes will be removed.

Avoiding police

Go to the bus terminal with any Heat Level. Normally you would go left or right to take the jump or drive up the middle to take the shortcut. Instead of using the ramps to jump, stop at the apex of the ramp, then turn and drive in the middle of the walkway. Stop there and wait. The cops will not come up the ramp after you if you are in the middle of the walkway. No matter what the Heat Level, the cops will not get you and they will eventually drive away.

When completing a race, if the police radio in the car you are driving and you do not want to run from them, press Down and choose another race. Alternately, you may also jump to your safe house (must be done before you are seen or the pursuit begins). If not, you must drive to it yourself in Cool Down mode. To jump to the safe house, pause the game and press Right until seen. Additionally, upon reaching level 4 (Most Wanted) there will be a lot of police chasing you. At this level, cops are excellent at boxing you in. If you cannot move forward, use reverse for a couple of seconds to get away from the block; spin your car around and get out of there.

The best way to escape the police is to evade long enough to get into Cool Down mode, then find a hiding spot. By sticking to the cities you will find lots of Cool Down spots to sit and hide your car until the heat is off. This is also a good way to avoid helicopters which appear if your reach level 4 on your map. Another good method is to run into the triangles on your map, which mark places where you can ram into shops and other roadside items to disable the cops. Highways are good places to get blockades and strike strips which are challenges for milestones. Additionally, never respawn your car in a pursuit, as the police will always catch you.

An easy way to get away from cops at high wanted levels is to find the baseball field. Look on the map for a small triangle towards the top left. Use highways in a circle around the field to achieve your missions. Once you have gained enough bounty, city damage, roadblocks, etc., drive through an entrance to the baseball field, hitting the pursuit breaker on the way in. Make sure that you slow down some before hitting the breaker so that it does not send you through the other side of the field. Once you make it in the field, stay there and wait out the Cool Down period. The cops should be off of you and will not be able to find you. This works almost all the time to get rid of the cops. Just driving through random blockers rarely works when you are at wanted levels 4 and 5.

Levels of police action

The various levels of police action are as follows:

Heat Level 1: Marked patrol cars and cruisers. They mostly chase and try to run you off the road. If you have a quick car, they are not hard to get away from.

Heat Level 2: Unmarked patrol cars and cruisers, roadblocks. The police mainly try to ram you off the road and setup roadblocks. Avoid roadblocks by doing an emergency brake lock U-turn or go through them. You can get through by ramming the cars on either end of the roadblock or by going through a weak point like the sawhorse or a gap between the cars. Use Speedbreaker to see the weak point in the roadblocks and use nitrous to ram straight through. Some road blocks will not extend all the way across the road — you can go through where they have not placed a car.

Heat Level 3: Marked GTO (Monaro) police cars, marked 4WDs (Rhinos), rolling road blocks, roadblocks. These are quicker and you need to use objects to knock down in front of them to disable them. Lead the chase with these vehicles through the cities to use knock down points (for example, the giant donut sign, etc.) to disable the vehicles and end the chase. Then, find somewhere to hide when you hit Cool Down mode. “Rhinos” will ram you from the front. Listen for the call over the police radio. You can usually see these coming on your map or on the road ahead. Depending on which car you have, you can get away with ramming them head on. Otherwise, just use Speedbreaker again to change lanes before they ram you.

Heat Level 4: Unmarked GTO (Monaro) police cars, helicopters, spike strips. The unmarked GTOs (Monaros) usually chase in packs and are very hard to avoid. They will try to box you in by surrounding the car from the front and back and slamming the brakes to take away any room you have to escape. Avoid this by staying ahead and using the same tactics used in level 3. For the helicopters, use tunnels and underground parking lots to escape from them. When they spot you, they can radio the police to your location. Spike strips are set up usually on main roads and highways. You can see them on the map when you see only one vehicle over to left of the road not driving (i.e., pulled over). Aim for the police car and use nitrous to ram it and get away. If you hit the spike strip you will get caught.

Heat Level 5: You will not reach this level until you are at Blacklist #3. When you reach this level, all the best and toughest police come out. The helicopters get more aggressive, there are more spikes, and more belts are called in on you. You must also deal with “cross” cop Corvettes. Cross and his team will apprehend you at all cost. Like in level 4, the unmarked GTO cars will surround and box you in and hit the brakes. Corvettes will also try to use rolling road blocks. If you reach level 5, make sure you are in your fastest vehicle. You will need the nitrous.

Higher Heat levels

You start Campaign mode only being able to achieve Heat levels 1 and 2 (City Police). By defeating certain Blacklist Rivals, you can then achieve the higher Heat levels:

Heat level 3 (State Police): Defeat the Blacklist Rival #13.
Heat level 4 (Undercover State Troopers): Defeat the Blacklist Rival #9.
Heat level 5 (Federal Authorities): Defeat the Blacklist Rival #5.
Heat level 6 (Cross’ Street Racin’ Unit): Defeat the Blacklist Rival #1 (final level only).
After you beat the Rockport’s Most Wanted level, Heat level 5 will then consist of both the Federal Authorities and Cross’ Street Racin’ Unit.

Regaining control

When approaching a corner at a high speed, quickly assess whether or not you can get through it cleanly as fast as possible and without touching the inside or outside barriers. If you start drifting (or worse, careening out of control) toward a barrier, turn on your Speedbreaker in order to regain control via increased handling and traction. During this period of slowed time, straighten out your car and put it back into an ideal racing line. Once you are straight and driving in the correct direction, quickly turn off Speedbreaker and hit the Nitrous hard to rip out of the remainder of the corner.

Better car performance

After upgrading your car with engines, suspension, brakes, etc., pause the game and go to “Performance Tuning”. For better handling for the Lamborghini, Porsche, Corvette, and Viper, set the “Height” of you car to “-1″. If you need more gripping power either take the “Height” to “-2″ or set the “Aerodynamics” to “+1″. If you go overboard with the performance tuning options (anything past “+3″ or “-3″), the car will actually handle worse.

Recommended car

The best start car to use until you get the Eclipse is the Cobalt SS. When you win blacklist races, try for the three “?” markers. You can get cash or the pink slip car. If you get their car, go to the safe house and sell it. You can get good money by doing this, and get unique upgrades after you start getting into the visuals (after you switch from the Cobalt). After you defeat Ming and get get his Lamborghini, it should make progressing further in the game easier. When you get his Lamborghini, go to the tuner shop and add in any upgrades needed for performance.

After beating Blacklist #8, you will have a choice to buy the Lotus Elise. At this point you should have enough money to buy it. If not, you may want sell to get enough money. Once you have the money, buy that car. It is great at road handling, and is very fast once you have maxed out its performance. Note: The stock top speed and handling do not look high at first.

Car upgrade test

If you are unsure which car is the best to use when upgraded, you can upgrade all the cars that are unlocked for free in the main menu. Go to “My Cars”, select a car that is available, and upgrade it with the parts that are available. By doing this, you will not waste all your money in Career mode.

Blacklist cars

If you win the Pinkslips to a Blacklist car, you may want to use the Blacklist car as your own and make the necessary upgrades to performance, as most of the upgrades will have been already made by the Blacklist owner. You usually do not need to spend too much money to increase the performance, handling, etc. Sometimes these cars will have upgrades that have not been unlocked yet, but most of these are usually visual. Only do this if the vehicle you have won has better attributes than the one you are currently driving in its standard mode. You can check this out in the car shop. It is a good idea to keep about three to five nice quick cars in your safehouse.

Blacklist milestones

Blacklist milestones are things you need to do to rack up your bounty so you can challenge the next person on the Blacklist. Check these out so you know what you need to do to increase your points. Once the milestones are completed, you must work on increasing the points. The best way to do this is to cause as much major damage as possible by taking out police cars, traffic, and crashing through shops (for example, the donut shop and other places you will notice in the later levels). Try to rack up as much bounty and escape before your status has reached level 4. If your status is already level 4, then choose a different car for awhile until the status goes down before returning to your preferred car. Once your status hits level 4, it is harder to get into Cool Down mode to find somewhere to hide. Avoid getting caught, as you will lose the bounty you have racked up during the chase.

Cheat mode

Select the “Create A Player” option, then enter “Katie Roy” as a case-sensitive name to unlock all rewards, stadiums, legendary players, and uniforms.

Super hitter

Select the “Create A Player” option, then enter “Keegan Paterson”, “Jacob Paterson”, or “Isaiah Paterson” as a case-sensitive name. The player will have a very large bat; he will hit a home run or a hard line drive every time you make contact, no matter what his stats.

Bad hitter

Select the “Create A Player” option, then enter “Erik Kiss” as a case-sensitive name. The player will have a skinny bat that will break every time and send a little dribbler to the pitcher for a sure out. You also cannot bunt with him; it will just go foul. Additionally, you can use this player to your advantage: Create “Erik Kiss”, make his stats all full, then trade him to a rival team. Then, go to “Locate A Created Player”, and reduce his stats. Your rival will now have a bad batter on their team.

Small player with big bat

Select the “Create A Player” option, then enter “Sean Paterson” or “Avery Larmour” as a case-sensitive name.

More broken bats

Select the “Create A Player” option, then enter “Mark Curran”, “Les Kram”, or “G Clark” as a case-sensitive name.

Increase body size

Select the “Create A Player” option, then enter “Kenny Lee”, “Benny Lee”, or “Teddy Lee” as a case-sensitive name to increase and fully change the player’s size. Each bicep and other parts of the body can be changed differently from the other.

Boston Red Sox St. Patrick’s Day jersey

All legendary players

Once you have 5,000 MVP Rewards points, save your profile. Buy a legendary player, but do not save your profile. Add the legendary player to a team and save your roster. Then, load your profile and you will still have 5,000 MVP Rewards points and the legendary player will still be on the team. Repeat this process to get all legendary players on your team(s).

Heroes team

Unlock each of the 25 Heroes team players to unlock the Heroes team.

Legends team

Getting money in Owner mode

If people are not attending your games, you will obviously have difficulty making money. Make sure the Fan Happiness meter is high and you schedule Promotional Days occasionally to keep people coming out to the ballpark. Additionally, use the following tricks to earn money in Owner mode. Note: Save the game early and often. Also be patient, as this may take awhile:

Use the money that is initially in your bank to purchase merchandise stands and concessions. The more revenue you stream in, the more chance you have to gain money in the future. Spend all your starting money (remember promotion days) quickly, as you will go into the negatives quickly.

Select a team that is championship caliber. You will make more money by hosting big games. For example, good teams like Chicago, Boston, New York, or St. Louis. You will make somewhere around $500,000 for each playoff game.

Never let your team have a losing year. That is the easiest way to get into a huge hole. In fact, make sure you go deep into the playoffs in the first few years.

After the postseason, spend all the money that you have earned on ballpark upgrades (mostly seating capacity). The more seats, the more money you will earn.

Turn off injuries, suspensions, and computer trades. This makes simulating a whole season much faster.

Turn off fair trades. Check your rosters after the first few seasons to get rid of old overpriced players for cheap youngsters. You can even edit young 20 to 22 year olds in rosters.

Keep your ticket prices at default for the unimportant games early in the season; perhaps even lower them a bit early in the season to get people through the door. In crucial September games and the playoffs, raise them to a reasonably high level. Fan satisfaction is higher then, and they are willing to pay more.

When you start Owner mode, turn off “Injuries” and “Suspensions” so that your starting lineup will not be disturbed throughout the season. Set the budget to “Large”. Start a season with a team with a small payroll (for example, the Minnesota Twins), or you could spend more time trading away all the big salaries (for example, the New York Yankees). Before you start the season, lower your ticket prices slightly. Your attendance will average slightly over 10,000 at first. Also, buy the first “Seating Capacity” upgrade so that your capacity is 25,000. Use the $1 million you have remaining and buy some concessions. Trade away your high priced players (anyone making over $1 million) and either sign lower paid players or call up players from your farm teams. Then, edit your roster so that you are the greatest team in the league (first in pitching, batting, defense, and speed). The players’ salaries will stay low, but you will be the best team in the league. Raise your ticket prices after the first few months then raise them more during the summer months, and slightly more during the playoffs. You should win the World Series if you edited your players well enough. Take the money you made and upgrade your seating capacity. Repeat this process after the year. Let go of the players asking for more money, and just call up more bad players and edit them to great players. Only concentrate on seating capacity at first. You will make enough with ticket sales to be able to afford everything else in the later years. After a few years you should have the best ballpark in the league. Note: This trick is not for those that are attached to certain players — you must be willing to part ways with your big names.

If you want a team with a lot of money, then use the following steps. Start Owner mode with large budget, no suspensions, injuries, CPU trades, and financial advisor. Then start a fantasy draft for both players and coaches. Make sure that yoru team is first for both. Choose B. Cox, then simulate the coach draft. When you get to the player draft, chose who you want (not Dowd, Pujols, Thome, Abreu, or any other high-priced player). Select in this order: Huff (1B), Mueller (3B), Soriano (2B), any shortstop, Baldelli (CF), Holliday (LF), select the first four pitchers in SP and two RP, then simulate. When done, go into “Owners Box” and choose “Buy Assets”. Enter “Seating Capacity” and go to level 2. Spend your money on a pizza stand, prospect store, and your last $100,000 on promotional days for your first, last, and rivalry games. Edit your players so that all of your player stats on main menu (pitching, fielding, hitting, speed) are at #1. For pitching, raise the stamina. For batting, raise contact and power. For fielding. raise fielding to 99 on all starters. For speed, set to at least 79. Simulate your season. You should finish with about 95 to 105 wins and $5 to 10 million in your bank.

Have a good team in Owner mode like the St. Louis Cardinals, New York Yankees, or Boston Red Sox. Trade away anyone making over $1 million on all 4 rosters (A, AA, AAA, and MLB). Then, sign the worst players in all the free agent categories. Go to edit players, and give them the exact stats of the best position players in the MLB. By doing this you are getting players for $300,000 for three years, and with the value of $10 million dollar players.

Before entering Owner mode, go to “Roster Management” and do the following. Send all of your high priced players to A ball. They will keep their contract years, but get paid $100,000 per year. For example, if you are the New York Mets, send Carlos Beltran to A ball. Instead of making $17.5 million over seven years he will make $100,000 over seven years. This will work with any player. This is an easy way to cut down price per day of player salaries and still get high media sponsorship.

Creating good players for low pay

When creating a player, leave his bio, equipment, looks, hot zones, and batter tendencies alone. Set all of his batting and fielding stats to zero. Do the same with pitchers, but also make their pitches bad. Then, sign him to a seven year, $300,000 deal to the MLB. Then, edit their stats and make them perfect. This works for Owner mode. When their contracts are up, release them and make new players. You can make them look however desired and give them whatever bio you want. Try making them born from July on in 1987 or the year that they turn 17.

Getting good players

To get a good player in Dynasty or Owner mode, create a player and make him very bad. Then, put him in the free agents and sign him to a seven year $700,000 contract. Then, edit him to be the best ever. You will save money and he will not complain about his contract.

Faster pitches

When you are about to throw the ball, hold the button down until you get to the red. Let go, then hit the green. Your pitches will be faster.

Pitching

If a good prospect is doing poorly in the minors, try hiring a new pitching coach or batting coach to put some spark back into their game.

Easier trades

If you cannot get an All-Star or top prospect with a player for player trade, go to free agents. Then, sign the top free agent available and offer the same trade along with the free agent to have a better chance at coming to terms with the CPU.

Easy grand slam

Trade all fast players like O. Cabrera, Ichiro, and Carlos Beltran to one team. Create the “jacob paterson” player and sign him. Then, put the fast players as the first three hitters and the slugger as the number four batter. Have the first three players bunt. While this happens, take control of the other team so they cannot throw the ball. All of the fast players will be on base and the slugger will be up. Most of the time he will hit a grand slam.

Easy MVP points

In dynasty mode, after simulating a season and before you go to the playoffs, save the game. Then, keep reloading it. This will give you a lot of MVP points. Additionally, enter an exhibition, owner, or dynasty mode game. Choose a good overall team (for example, the Yankees). Face a team with bad pitching and defense (for example, the Rockies). Play on the MVP level. Go to the game options in the in-game menu. Go to “Gameplay Tuning” and change all the CPU’s abilities (Contact, Power, Speed, Pitcher Fatigue) to the minimum (-50). Change yours to the maximum (50). It will now be easy to complete the MVP checklist goals (hit two homers with same player, steal four bases with same player, hit a grand slam, hit a triple, strike out ten, pitch a perfect game). Because the game is under the MVP level, your total MVP points will be multiplied by four, giving you a large number of MVP points quickly. Note: You can do this on the other levels; on the Pro level the multiplier is two, and on the All-Star level the multiplier is three. There is no bonus multiplier for the Rookie level.

Trade everyone from your A-team to the Red Sox or any other team you can get MVP points by winning a game against. Then, get eleven of the worst prospects on the free agents list and set their stats up as high as possible. Put them on your team, and set your team as the away team.

Tinker Field

Spring Training Stadium Three is in reality Tinker Field in Orlando, Florida. The football stadium past the outfield is the Citrus Bowl, home to the University of Central Florida’s Golden Knights, and the 2004-2005 season Capitol One Bowl.

Stadium sign changes

Bank One Ballpark

On top of the scoreboard in center field, it reads “Arizona Diamondbacks” instead of “Arizona Republic” as it truly does at Bank One Ballpark.

Camden Yards

On top of the clock in the outfield at the actual Camden Yards there is a sign that reads “The Sun”, which refers to the newspaper The Baltimore Sun. In the game, it reads “The Run”.

Fenway Park

In the real Fenway Park, there are big Coca-Cola bottles above the green monster. However, in the game the bottles are called Rip Cola.

Recommended team

The following recommended players can be bought for very low salaries. In Owner mode, a team like this has a good chance at winning a title. They are cheap and better yet they are young. However, because these players are younger they will generate less money from sponsors; make sure you have some popular players like Guerrero, Rodriguez, or Pujols to help raise the bar.

Easy money

At the options screen, select “Simulation”. Once you have gained your racing license and have a decent car, select the “Racing Calendar” option. Select “Restart”, then just race, win, and repeat as many times as desired to get as much money as desired.

Execution styles

Easy money

Commit a crime in front of your safehouse to get the attention of the police. Shoot as many as possible when they appear. If you are about to die, enter the safehouse. After regaining health, exit the safehouse. The police will no longer be there and you can collect the dropped money safely. Repeat this as many times as desired.

Level select

At the title screen, hold [Space] and select the “New Game” option. Then any individual level may be selected for game play.

Win single player level

While playing the game, press [Ctrl] + [Plus].

Lose single player level

Click on the galaxy to view it. Zoom out and begin spinning the galaxy. After a few seconds, Will Wrights’ head will spin out of it.

Growing in Cell stage

When you emerge from the meteor, eat meat or plants to complete the “Eat” mission. You should grow in size. Keep eating until a cell eats another and reveals a gold shield. Swim into it, and keep eating. Mate to equip the part in the gold shield. After you grow, find a “Booster” (red and have more than two eyes), and defeat it. This will unlock another gold shield. Swim into it, and keep eating. After you grow again, find a cell that is leaving a pink trail. Defeat it, and stay out of the trail. This will unlock another gold shield. Swim into it. Keep eating until you grow. Find a pink cell named “Pinky” or “Punky”, and defeat it. This will unlock another gold shield. Swim into it. After you grow two times, find a “Buzzy” (orange). This will unlock another gold shield. Swim into it. Keep eating until you finish the Cell stage.

Becoming an omnivore in Cell stage

Use the following trick to become an omnivore, even if your Cell stage development chart makes you a carnivore or herbivore. Explore in the Cell stage until you find a cell with an omnivore mouth, which looks like a tube, and acquire it. Once you have it, evolve into the Creature stage normally, but do not delete the mouth. Shrink it and hide it behind another part. Then, even if the mouths you are allowed to select from are not omnivore mouths, you still have the omnivore mouth from the Cell stage. This is useful in a variety of ways. For example, if you are a carnivore all the way through the Cell stage but you want to make friends in the Creature stage, you normally cannot. You have to eat at least some creatures to survive.

Easy impressing in Creature stage

During the Creature stage (right out of the tidal pool), you can get additional parts for your creature by impressing the alpha versions of the fellow inhabitants of your world. When you first approach them, sometimes others of their species will join in the game. The more of them there are, the more difficult it can become. Push the alpha away from the nest, and try to solo it out so that you only have to deal with him dancing, singing, etc. against your crew of followers.

Conquering planets in Space stage

Note: This trick will start a war. Enable the “setConsequenceTrait space_zealot” code. A new tool called “Fanatical Frenzy” will appear in your “Socialization” tools. If you already had it, it will instantly be recharged. Use it on a planet, and it will automatically become yours. This also works on home worlds. However, unless you have over 35 points in your relationship with another empire or are far away from the other empire, they will most likely go to war with you. To determine your relationship (and the positive and negative factors affecting it), move the pointer over the image of the planet owner when over or on a plane. Continually use this trick against enemy home worlds while using your normal weapons on the rest of their planets until there are no other empires that are at war against you. You should now be in control of a large portion of the galaxy.

Start with domesticated animals in Tribal stage

Have members of other tribes in your pack before completing the Creature stage. When you advance to the Tribal stage, they will be transformed into domesticated animals in your tribe’s pen.

Easy “Epic Killer” achievement

The only sure way to get this achievement is to lure an Epic into another Epic. Note: Save your game before you get to the battle with the Epics. An Epic creature is much bigger than the usual species. It can one-shot almost anything, even though its attack range of 3-7 is not very powerful to you. Epic creatures have 1,000 health. First, get a Spit weapon with at least 4+ Spit. Spit will lure the Epic towards you, but be careful so you do not get killed. Next, have two or three Pack members (Rogue recommended). Rogues are more powerful than a normal creature, but weaker than an Epic. Rogues have 250 health and do massive damage. Spit at an Epic creature, and make it follow you. Stay at a distance, and lure it to another. Find the two you want to battle. Once they start, find the one that will probably win. Start attacking the one that is about to win. This will increase your chances of getting the achievement. Once the Epic battle is over, the Epic that won and the one you attacked should be down to about 200 health or less. If not, quit to the main menu and restart. Constantly Spit until it is down to less than 10 health. Charge it, then Strike or Bite, and you will win and get the “Epic Killer” achievement. -From: Brian Pken
